A post by Oreo…

In My day to day on November 29, 2009 at 9:31 pm

I’ve been with my new Mom and Dad for over two months now and every day I find more and more fun things to do. Here I am doing some studying, but I kept getting distracted by the birds flying past the window! I think I could probably get them if Mom and Dad would let me try!

Mom wanted to move the sofa and TV into the sun room for winter since the wood stove is in there, however, whenever Dad tries to play Xbox the sun shines on the TV screen and he can’t see the bad guys to shoot them. We decided to set up our very own little tent…

I didn’t think it worked all that well, but Dad wouldn’t let me destroy it! I gave it a good try though.

After a hard day’s work there is nothing I like more than a tummy tickle…

Dad says I’m not much of a lady!

Anyway I best go now, I have a lot of making up to do. Yesterday when Mom and Dad were out I ‘accidentally’ knocked the whole fish bowl off the unit and sadly poor fishy died. Mom is very cross with me and keeps telling me Santa only comes to good kittens. I guess I better not scratch the sofa for a while!

A day out with our new truck

Now that both Cameron and I are both official Canadian Permanent Residents, we thought we’d celebrate the Canadian way – by buying ourselves a rather large truck..

We only collected it yesterday and since today was such a beautiful day we thought we’d go on a little adventure. After a breakfast of homemade hash browns and bacon (thanks to my lovely husband) we headed off towards Rissers beach.

Rissers beach

We found some cool shells and even a massive lobster claw – I bet there would have been some good eating on this guy! We’re looking forward to eating some lobster again soon (lobster season has just started).
